Vision
God’s Little Acres
vision is to provide a relaxed, family atmosphere facility for beginning golfers of all ages to launch their golfing experience.
Experienced golfers will enjoy the opportunity to hone their short game.
We are all about short drives, pitching
and putting. There are no links or circuit at God's Little Acres. Just dozens of different ways to reach one of our 18+
greens. Our longest drive will be over 300 yards for the chance to practise swinging that driver.
Training the PGA and LPGA leaders of tomorrow.
To enhance your family outing we will include camping cabins on the course.
God's Little Acres is situated on 28 acres of land. Because of our small size and the proximity of our neighbors our golf course intends to mostly restrict the use of balls to Cayman balls only.
The Cayman ball is the same size as a regular golf ball. Instead of dimples it has pimples and weighs approximately 24 grams, compared to the average 45 grams of a traditional golf ball. Together these restrict its distance to only slightly more than half the distance of a golf ball with a fast swing and a greater percentage with a slower swing. Also the Cayman ball floats on water hazards and streams. Being struck by an errant cayman ball is unlikely to injure anyone.
Camping Cabins
God's Little Acres intends to cater to your entire family. Not just the golfers of the group. We intend to include camping cabins on the course. The cabins will be basic shelter structures. 10' x 20' with running water, air condioning, heat, propane stove, picnic tables and bunk beds. Fire pits will be provided.
Greens will be lighted to allow putting enjoyment after dark.
